Instructor Bios
Laura Fitch
Laura began her yoga practice while living in Tokyo in 2005. She deepened it while living in Beijing at a 200-hour teacher training with Matthew Cohen in 2010. She has had the good fortune to broaden her knowledge with trainings and workshops with Donna Farhi, Sarah Powers, Max Strom, Robyn Wexler, and with the incredible teachers at the Yoga Yard, where she taught in Beijing. In 2015, she completed a 300-hour traditional hatha teacher training at Rishikesh Yog Peeth in Rishikesh, India.
Laura’s classes mix hatha and vinyasa flow with taichi and qigong influences, with a focus on matching movement with breath and cultivating a sense of energy. Her classes are accessible to all levels, with a range of options to accommodate both the beginner and advanced student
Oriana Evoy
Oriana Evoy hails from a dance background and is a Psychologist and yoga Instructor with a passion for body acceptance, self-compassion, and radical self-love. Growing up in the world of ballet, Oriana discovered yoga during university and fell in love with the stillness of savasana. She completed her 200 RYT iwith the intention of deepening her personal practice and gaining as stronger understanding of yogic teachings.
Her classes are dynamic, creative, and focus on both strength and flexibility. Expect to move, sweat, and breathe.
Julie Tesolin
Julie has always expressed a passion for dance and movement in life. She was first introduced to Yoga and Nia during her College Theatre Arts Program and felt transformed by the holistic effects on her mind, body and spirit.
Julie is an E-RYT500 Yoga Teacher and Certified Nia Technique Instructor. She has also completed her East to West Pilates Mat Certificate Course and Prenatal and Therapeutic Yoga Training. She teaches Hatha and Vinyasa yoga styles in both hot and regular temperature studios. Julie has enjoyed yoga studies in India and North America. In India she enjoyed exploring the historical roots of yoga, philosophy and meditation and continues to expand her understanding of the ancient practice.
Jane Montague
Jane first encountered yoga and pilates at a young age attending classes with her mom and has been practicing ever since. She completed her mat certification in contemporary pilates, inclusive of injuries and special populations at Muse Movement and did her yoga exercise certification at East to West Yoga and Pilates. Mindful movement is a big part of her life and keeps her balanced on and off the mat as a social worker. Jane loves to piece sequences together to build strong foundations in the body and calmness to the mind. She is constantly inspired by other movement leaders and students alike.
Tania Koulakian
Tania is a motivated World Class Yoga and Barre Fitness Instructor with advanced training in Ballet at Canadian Ballet Theatre and Interdisciplinary Yoga Methods at Nosara Institute, Costa Rica. From Toronto, Canada, she has worked with a variety of groups from MMA fighters, Adults with Special Needs and Children. She is the founder of home of Tiké, a jewellery and lifestyle brand designed to make every moment sacred. She currently teaches yoga programs in schools across the GTA.
