Our Yoga teacher training program focuses on: integrating ancient wisdom and modern science in the practice of Hatha, Vinyasa and Restorative Yoga as well as meditation.

Teacher Training provided by Liberty Movement are taught by RYT Certified Instructors and are Yoga Alliance applicable. These yoga teacher trainings  are  for yoga or Pilates teachers-in-training or people training in similar modalities.

Our Yoga teacher training program focuses on: integrating ancient wisdom and modern science in the practice of Hatha, Vinyasa and Restorative Yoga as well as meditation.  Currently we offer the Liberty Movement Registered Yoga Teacher Training or LMYT-RYT-200 in a Hybrid format with LIVE Online Zoom lectures and in person classes at our studio in the Geary Avenue Community in Toronto. We also offer Yoga courses at the 300/500 level as well as a Pilates mat certification.

Liberty Movement School 200 Hour Yoga training is registered with the Canadian Yoga Alliance. All Continuing education credits for specialty trainings are registered with the Canadian Yoga Alliance and the YACEP designation for the American Yoga Alliance.

Prerequisites

200 HOUR YOGA TEACHER TRAINING CERTIFICATION

We have developed a well-rounded and immersive program designed to lay the groundwork for your yoga career while deepening and transforming your personal practice in meaningful ways.

Cancellations

If you are unable to attend a class that you’ve signed up for, please give us a minimum of 12- hour notice, otherwise your class will be debited from your account. We would appreciate receiving as much notice as possible.

  • Cancellations may be done online by logging into your account, over the phone or email.
  • Schedule is subject to change with or without notice.

Studio Etiquette

  • Please arrive 10 minutes before class to allow time to sign in and register
  • Please turn OFF your phone  there is phone use allowed in class
  • Please refrain from wearing scents/perfume to avoid allergy sensitivity for others.
  • We practice Yoga and Pilates barefoot; please remove socks and shoes outside the studio. Toe grip socks are available for purchase if needed.
  • We wash mats and props weekly, and students wipe them down after each use. They're free to use, but you may bring your own mat if preferred.
  • Wear comfortable clothes that you can move in and are a breathable material.
  • Yoga & Pilates are practiced on an empty stomach; avoid eating 2 hours before class.
  • If leaving early, take savasana first, then quietly exit, leaving props/mat behind. Do not leave during savasana to avoid disrupting others.
