Postnatal Fitness Classes

Postnatal fitness classes are designed for parents who want to get fit with their baby. You can register for a single class series below. Alternately you can Purchase Unlimited Me & Babe unlimited monthly pass and take all our postnatal classes and some adult classes to get back into shape with your baby and on your own for “me”  time!

All classes  consists of a workout followed by a discussion about various relevant postnatal topics. Meet other parents and babies from the neighbourhood and get fit at the same time!  New parents can participate regardless of prior experience. Classes are all 4-week pre-registered series  or option to take unlimited classes. Drop in anytime during a session!

Me & Babe – Barre Fusion

This barre class is done with your baby. Barre focuses on posture core strength and flexibility. Inspired by a blend of ballet, strength training, and Pilates, barre-style classes use the ballet barre and a variety of equipment. The results? A long, lean, and strong body. New moms can participate regardless of prior experience but need to be prepared to work!

    Me & Babe – Yoga/Pilates Fusion

    A Yoga/Pilates Fusion class suitable for new moms and  pre-crawlers babes 6 weeks and up. Pilates core work done with baby to get your core back in shape. Gentle Yoga to stretch out all your sore muscles. Class is suitable for c-section recovery. Meet other moms and babies from the neighbourhood and get fit at the same time!  New moms can participate regardless of prior experience.

      Me & Babe – Stroller Fit

      Join us for Strollerfit. Great for parents and babies of all ages!! More than a stroll in the park! This is a class designed to get you fit after baby with a low-impact cardio workout. Meet other parents in this fun but vigorous class in Dovercourt Park. Class meets by the playground at the center of Dovercourt Park. Class runs rain or shine, so be prepared to face the elements!

      Class is suitable for c-section recovery. New parents can participate regardless of prior experience.

      Cancellations

      If you are unable to attend a class that you’ve signed up for, please give us a minimum of 12- hour notice, otherwise your class will be debited from your account. We would appreciate receiving as much notice as possible.

      • Cancellations may be done online by logging into your account, over the phone or email.
      • Schedule is subject to change with or without notice.

      Studio Etiquette

      • Please arrive 10 minutes before class to allow time to sign in and register
      • Please turn OFF your phone  there is phone use allowed in class
      • Please refrain from wearing scents/perfume to avoid allergy sensitivity for others.
      • We practice Yoga and Pilates barefoot; please remove socks and shoes outside the studio. Toe grip socks are available for purchase if needed.
      • We wash mats and props weekly, and students wipe them down after each use. They're free to use, but you may bring your own mat if preferred.
      • Wear comfortable clothes that you can move in and are a breathable material.
      • Yoga & Pilates are practiced on an empty stomach; avoid eating 2 hours before class.
      • If leaving early, take savasana first, then quietly exit, leaving props/mat behind. Do not leave during savasana to avoid disrupting others.
